The Central Avian Research Institute of India (CARI) is a research institute located at Izzatnagar near Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh state, India. It studies poultry science, including vian genetics, breeding, nutrition and feed technology, and avian physiology and reproduction, for the betterment of the Indian poultry industry.
The institute was established in 1979 under the administrative control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, and offers also education, training, and consultancy services. [1][2].
